The Prichard Periosteal Elevator – PR3, Double-Ended is designed for efficient periosteum separation and flap management during periodontal and oral surgery. One end features a 4.8 mm rounded, pointed tip for initiating dissection, releasing periosteal attachments, and working in confined areas or along the alveolar ridge. The opposite end has an 11 mm wide spatula blade that smoothly elevates and reflects mucoperiosteal flaps and provides broad, gentle tissue support – ideal on the palate and other wide surfaces. The lightweight, knurled handle offers a secure, low-fatigue grip. Crafted from high-quality, medical-grade stainless steel and passivated for corrosion resistance, the instrument is fully autoclavable and reusable for dependable, long-term performance.
